At RoadRunner, we're committed to making recycling and waste management massively more efficient for businesses. With a service as unique as RoadRunner's, we receive an array of questions everyday. In hopes of being as informative as possible, we compiled a list of answers to the 5 most popular questions prospective customers ask about our services. Continue reading to learn more.

I am already in a contract; can I still work with RoadRunner?
Absolutely. The vast majority of our customers are in some type of contract. It's important to remember that RoadRunner does not break any incumbent hauler contracts. We work in co-existence with your hauler to ensure they are holding up their end of the deal. We make sure that no changes are made to your contract agreement without your knowledge, and that any service frequency or container setup remains the same unless otherwise approved as a saving strategy.

How does RoadRunner make money?
RoadRunner operates through a shared savings model. We split any savings 50/50 with our customers. We are able to guarantee our customers savings by offering better than market rates. On average, waste haulers increase prices annually via an Annual Price Increase, or API. RoadRunner’s leverage in the industry ensures your APIs never exceed 5%. Our goals are completely aligned with yours, we don’t make any money unless we save you money.

I’m not comfortable with someone else managing my account...
It's normal to have these type of concerns when working with someone new. Luckily, we make switching to RoadRunner easy by providing our customers with an Account Manager and dedicated Customer Service Representatives who are always happy to help. We know managing your waste can be frustrating at times, that's why we make it a core focus to create long-lasting relationships with our customers. We're here to help you solve any complex issues and answer any questions, so your business can focus on what's important.

What’s going to happen to my current dumpsters?
As it makes sense, we will suggest downsizing your receptacles or we will provide RoadRunner carts in place of your bulky, expensive containers free of charge. Our agile containers on wheels can be staged indoors or outdoors, which allows the customer to bring the container where the materials are produced. In most cases,
the use of our carts brings with it additional cost savings.

What's the next step after I sign my contract?
After signing your contract, your dedicated Account Manager and Customer Service team will be there for you every step of the way. We will be keeping you up-to-date on the timing of your integration, and the implementation of your waste and recycling solutions designed specifically for your business to achieve savings. Upon being fully integrated, RoadRunner acts as the end-to-end manager of your new waste program, working in full transparency alongside your business to facilitate services, report on our progress, and enhance your program moving forward.
Your business is unique, and your waste and recycling services should be too. If you still have questions, please refer to our FAQ page, or get in touch with us by leaving a comment below or contacting us here. Thanks for reading!
